Inflatable Penile Prosthesis
A three-piece device that provides a natural-looking erection and comfortable flaccidity. With a discreet pump in the scrotum and an internal reservoir, the implant helps restore sexual function when medications fail.
Why choose inflatable?
Offers the most natural appearance and feel. When deflated the penis is soft and discreet; when inflated, rigidity supports satisfying intercourse. Requires basic hand dexterity to operate the pump.

Natural look, on-demand control
The system includes cylinders in the corpora, a fluid reservoir, and a scrotal pump with release valve. Squeezing the pump moves fluid into the cylinders to create an erection; pressing the valve returns fluid for flaccidity.
- Discreet pump; soft, natural flaccidity when deflated.
- Custom sizes and high satisfaction for patients and partners.
- Hands-on activation training and written aftercare included.

Penile Prosthesis Surgery — Questions and Answers
This content is for general information and does not replace medical advice. Diagnosis and treatment decisions should be made with your urologist/andrologist.
Is a prosthesis really necessary?
A prosthesis is applied as a permanent solution when other treatments such as ESWT, medication, and injections have failed.
Do I have any other treatment options left?
If you have already tried medication, injections, or shock wave therapy without success, then a prosthesis is the most effective option.
Which is better: inflatable or malleable?
Both are effective. Inflatable prostheses (two- or three-piece) provide a more natural appearance, while malleable (two-piece) prostheses are easier to use.
Are there complications after surgery?
Infection is the most common complication, but its incidence is almost zero with an experienced surgical team. Mechanical problems are possible but rare. In experienced hands, the risk is very low.
What is the success rate?
The surgical success rate is 100%. Patient satisfaction is over 90%. If we fully inform the patient about expectations before surgery, satisfaction can reach 100%.
Will the erection be completely natural?
The erection is achieved mechanically, but sexual pleasure and ejaculation remain unchanged. Since the device is placed inside the penis, the sensory nerves function as usual.
Will my partner notice?
Inflatable prostheses are not noticeable. With malleable models, a slight difference may be felt.
Will ejaculation and pleasure be affected?
No. Ejaculation and orgasm remain unchanged because the device mimics the natural blood-filling mechanism.
Will I have problems urinating or walking with the prosthesis?
No. Urination and daily activities continue normally.
How does an inflatable prosthesis work?
It usually consists of a fluid-filled reservoir and a mechanism placed inside the scrotum. When the pump is squeezed, the fluid flows into the penis, creating an erection. After orgasm, pressing the pump returns the fluid to the reservoir. It is very easy to use.
What if the prosthesis breaks?
It can be replaced with a revision surgery. Some brands offer lifetime warranties, providing a free replacement if the device fails.
How many years can I use it?
Typically 10–15 years without problems.
How much does the surgery cost?
The cost depends on the hospital and the type of prosthesis. Some brands have lifetime guarantees, meaning you only pay for the doctor and hospital fees if it needs replacement.
Does private insurance cover it?
It depends on the insurance policy.
How should I tell my partner?
Attending the doctor’s consultation together is the healthiest way.
Will other people notice?
No. A prosthesis is not visible from the outside, and even during intercourse, it is usually unnoticeable.
When can I resume sexual activity after surgery?
A minimum of 1 month of abstinence is required. Using the device too early can damage it or cause skin erosion, increasing the risk of infection.
